I hired Mr. Hooker to help me with a legal matter and found him to be very helpful both before and in the courtroom. He was always responsive and kept me informed as he guided me through the process. I hired Mr. Hooker to represent me after I had been arrested and charged with Public Intoxication. They charged me $750 and then on the day of the trial, it wasn’t Mr. Hooker who came to represent me, but another attorney with his firm, Steven P. Letourneau.
There was not really any evidence against me but I ended up being found guilty. They said it would be an additional $500 to file an appeal. I decided to file an appeal anyway and represent myself. I won my appeal and the charge was dismissed
The experience I thought started out well. Then court day came. After spending numberous ours of my personal time collecting information needed by, mr hooker, he never looked At it. He told me he would meet me in 30 minutes prior to court, but lo and behold he showed up 15 minutes into court. I was very upset that he never looked at any of the information I had printed out, and that I paid him to show up 30 minutes prior which he didn’t. I sat in the quart room for 15 minutes wondering if he was even going to show up at all. When we finally got in the front of the judge he didn’t even know the other parties first name.
Needs to retire !
