First let me be very specific, William Bishop and team at Holcomb Law should be honored by the courts of this Commonwealth as much as I will strive to do with this brief review. Mr. Bishop is an extremely top notch lawyer, advisor, and fighter for justice that is guaranteed to all Americans as laid out in the Constitution. William Bishop and team at Holcomb Law in Newport News, Virginia went the extra mile while handling my criminal case file and not only discovering the truth about the case and showing the Commonwealth Attorney's office, but, he had all the charges withdrawn and dismissed before the case came to trial. I owe my life to William Bishop and the Holcomb Law Team in Newport News Virginia, and I likely will never forget what they have done for me.

Holcomb Law handled my divorce with great ease and professionalism. We were able to go through the mediation process for the divorce and it made things so much easier. They made us feel like family. I've had to reach out a few more times with questions after the divorce was final and they were always prompt to respond with answers and it never felt like I was bothering them. I highly recommend them if you need a great law firm!

Especially if you are innocent - you must retain Attorney Matney. Innocent people have the most to lose and you need to know that law-enforcement is not always on your side. I did nothing wrong other than proactively cooperate with police. Although I had no drugs or alcohol in my system - was arrested for DUI - obviously a very serious charge. For my job, I need to maintain security clearance and as a former teacher, the charge alone had major implications upon my professional reputation and place in the community. Both things I worked years to establish and carefully nurture. Innocent until proven guilty is only a cliche in this country. In any case, and most especially if you are innocent, it’s best to have passionate, fearless and knowledgeable Mr. Matney walk with you through this horrible time and be the strategic voice pf justice you deserve. Mr. Matney maintained direct communication with me throughout, installment payments were an option, and Dana in his office - an gem.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I received a reckless driving ticket and decided to work with Holcomb Law based on the raving reviews online! This was my first ticket and had no idea what to expect. I talked with Mr. Matney initally and was represented by Ms. Douglas the day of my hearing. I was in contact with Ms. Cox, paralegal, throughout the whole process. Ms. Cox always responded in a timely manner and was extremely helpful/assuring! Ms. Douglas helped me receive a reduction to a speeding ticket. She reassurinhelped me understand what to expect and how to go about the hearing. The entire experience with Holcomb Law was wonderful despite the circumstances of my ticket. If I have to hire a laywer again in the future, I will definitely be reaching out to Holcomb Law again!
