Hired Attorney

I WAS FIRED ON THE SPOT FOR A VERY WRONGFUL REASON DURING MY 60-DAY PROBATIONARY PERIOD. I UNDERSTAND VIRGINIA IS A STATE WITH “AT-WILL” LABOR LAW BUT I ALSO READ ONLINE IT IS CONSIDERED AN EMPLOYEE IS NO LONGER CONSIDERED “AT-WILL” ONCE AN EMPLOYEE SIGNS A CONTRACT PROMISING JOB SECURITY WHICH IS MY CASE. I THINK I HAVE A BREACH OF CONTRACT AND WRONGFUL TERMINATION WITH MY EMPLOYER. I EXPLAINED YET I WAS SENT AWAY PAYING $175 CASH FOR 10 MIN. CONSULTATION BEING TOLD I DO NOT HAVE A CASE. HE MIGHT BE A KNOWLEDGEABLE LAYER IN OTHER AREA OF THE LAW BUT I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND GOING TO HIM FOR A WRONGFUL TERMINATION OF EMPLOYMENT.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.
