David Johnson, a graduate of Regent Law School, is a seasoned attorney with a diverse legal background. A former active duty Army judge advocate, paratrooper, and combat veteran, David's career spans roles as a litigator, Military Practice Group Director, and real estate attorney at private firms before joining Anchor Legal. After high school, he enlisted in the Marine Corps but transitioned to the College of Charleston due to an injury, earning a B.A. in Communication. David's civilian career included work in athletics, entertainment, fitness, and special education teaching. Returning to the military, he served in various capacities in the Army, including Operational Law, Prosecution, Defense, and as an advisor to high-ranking commanders. Admitted to practice in Virginia and Tennessee, he is licensed in state courts and federal courts in Virginia's Eastern and Western districts. His military legal experience includes roles as a U.S. Army Judge Advocate, Prosecutor, and Defense Counsel, among others. While at law school, David was a National Finalist in the American College of Trial Lawyers Trial Competition and claimed the National Championship in the Stetson Law Pre-Trial Competition.
