Hired Attorney Jennifer Babounakis

OUTSTANDING family law firm, especially Jennifer Babounakis. I would rate her as THE BEST family law attorney in Fairfax County for contested custody battles, and consider her firm as one of the top 3. Please tell her that Elyse Osterweil recommended her for the best possible experience. I have interviewed, consulted, hired, and/or witnessed in court trials practically all of the most qualified family law attorneys in Fairfax County since winter of 2016 that money can buy, thus, feel very confident in stating this. She will defend you as she would a member of her family. I regret not choosing Roop Law and hiring her as my first attorney. She is kind, honest/ethical, highly knowledgeable and creative, trauma-informed/empathetic, excellent at mitigating conflict, used her time/resources very strategically, transparent, and so much more. In trials, she really surprised me with her very assertive opening statement, especially since she’s so kind and very personable in private.

Don't second guess working with Roop Law. David is a brilliant strategist, and his team is the best in the area. I worked with, and highly recommend, Komal Khan. She is laser focused, highly organized, efficient, responsive, and (appropriately and professionally) fierce in the courtroom when she needs to be. She prepares intensely for every court appearance and the judges know and respect that. She took my (divorce/custody/protective order for a minor) case very seriously, through multiple court appearances, and we were successful every time. Don't even think about it anymore. Call and ask for her. You're welcome ;) Best of luck to you!

David Roop is an extraordinary attorney. He is a unique professional in family law as he is sincerely passionate about your needs and deeply cares about his clients. David can think outside of the box and can pave various paths for you to choose from as you venture through your divorce journey. He can take a complex case with numerous issues and simply it so the judge or opposing counsel can get a grasp of the matters. David was able to paint a picture for the court of what myself and children had to endure, which I am most certain no other attorney would have been able to accomplish. A divorce is painful; however, if you want to feel confident, at ease and know you will have a person fighting tooth and nail for your cause, David is your attorney. This isn't just a day at the office for Mr. Roop, he understands this impacts the rest of your life...
