About Andrew Simpson

Andrew Simpson is an experienced trial attorney with over 34 years of litigation experience in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Mr. Simpson has successfully secured millions of dollars for deserving victims of negligence through settlements and jury verdicts.

Mr. Simpson has served as lead counsel in numerous jury trials in courts throughout the Northern Virginia area, including catastrophic motor vehicle accidents, motorcycle collisions, truck accidents, pedestrian incidents, premises liability cases, medical malpractice suits, and cases brought against governmental organizations and entities. Mr. Simpson has extensive experience in overcoming and navigating the complexities of sovereign immunity laws and finding sources of insurance coverage to compensate families who have suffered terrible harm through no fault of their own.

Mr. Simpson’s diverse background has included representing professionals and businesses involved in commercial litigation, individuals and corporations involved in complex federal bankruptcy court proceedings, and representing white collar criminal defendants. This wide range of litigation experience is now directed at serving clients involved in catastrophic auto injury cases, trucking accidents, and wrongful death cases. Through rigorous research, attention to detail, and zealous advocacy, Mr. Simpson brings his experience to families who have suffered catastrophic personal injury or wrongful death. These cases now comprise 100% of Andrew’s legal practice.

Mr. Simpson is a devoted member of the Commonwealth of Virginia legal community. He served on the City of Alexandria Judicial Screening Committee for 6 years, helping to ensure that only the most qualified candidates are considered for judicial positions. Furthermore, Andrew has actively advocated for The Virginia Trial Lawyers Association before the Virginia General Assembly. Outside of his professional commitments, Mr. Simpson remains engaged in volunteering for his local community, frequently undertaking pro bono legal work to assist the indigent. As a father of two sons, Andrew takes pride in coaching Fairfax County youth basketball and participating as a classroom parent in the Fairfax County Public School system. In 2023, Mr. Simpson was honored as “Most Valuable Coach” by the Fairfax County Youth Basketball League Select League (5th grade boys, Division 1).
