Matthew M. Cohen graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1998 with a double major in Political Science and Sociology. He received his Juris Doctorate from Lewis and Clark Law School in Portland, Oregon in 2005. After graduation from law school, Mr. Cohen was a law clerk for the Portland, Oregon City Attorney. Prior to joining Marsh, Higgins, Beaty & Hatch in 2009, Mr. Cohen worked law firms in Tacoma, Washington and Vancouver, Washington providing legal services in worker's compensation and family law. Mr. Cohen provides legal representation for clients in dissolution, child support, and other family law related matters, as well as employment law and civil litigation. Mr. Cohen played Division I soccer in college, and continues to play recreationally in the area. He also enjoys hiking throughout the Pacific Northwest, reading about political theory and legal philosophy, and spending time with his wife and son.
