At Jody D. Peterman, LLC, we are dedicated to helping our neighbors work through their legal matters. We have strong roots in Georgia, and from our new office in Valdosta, we serve clients throughout the state who need legal assistance.

Our law firm is focused on personal injury and criminal defense. While some attorneys who practice in these areas look for the easy cases, we pride ourselves in taking whatever comes our way. We know that when you are facing a serious legal matter, you need serious legal assistance no matter what the circumstances are. If strategies we have used for others don’t make sense for your case, we will come up with something new.

Georgia Native Practicing Law Since 1995

Jody D. Peterman is a lifelong resident of Georgia. After earning a degree in criminal justice from Valdosta State University, he went on to complete law school at Mercer University. Since being admitted to the state bar in 1995, he has devoted his career to being a legal advocate for the people of his community.

A member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, he personally makes sure that each case he handles is prepared for trial should it be necessary. When crafting a legal strategy, he customizes his approach to fit the needs of each of his clients’ unique situations. He will never take an approach that isn’t right for you just because it is easier for him.

Mr. Jody Peterman is an excellent lawyer for all types of cases. My case was particularly difficult because it not only dealt with the criminal proceedings but also the professional state licensure board. Mr. Peterman is a very determined and passionate individual to say the least. After reaching out to lawyer after lawyer and having my case pretty much turned down, Mr. Peterman did not only accept the challenge, but ensured me that he’d do his best with the case.
