At Mercer, Edward was awarded the Faculty Award for Outstanding Achievement in Legal Writing, a Merit Scholarship, and Cali Awards for Advanced Legal Writing Group and Environmental Law Practice.

As a former licensed real estate broker in the State of Georgia, Edward offers over 13 years of experience in the real estate industry specializing in commercial real estate brokerage, development, and asset management. His experience ranges from assisting investors in purchasing income producing properties to consulting on a bank owned portfolio with over ninety million dollars in assets. In 2007, Edward earned the Certified Commercial Investment Member designation and remains a member of the National and Georgia Chapters of the CCIM Institute. Additionally, he is a member of the Real Estate Section of the Georgia Bar Association.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.
