Hired Attorney

I retained Ms. Shapiro for a fairly simple divorce. After about 6 months, she stopped communicating including no longer sending statements on the escrow account we had established. She never informed me if she had filed for divorce after 12 months and never returned my phone calls even though I had spoken with her assistant. She has never sent me a final statement or in anyway showed what became of the escrow I paid her. The new atty I hired found she had done the filings, but did not tell me.

All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.
