Hired Attorney Layne Bartholomew

Representation in court was adequate. Over-reliant on paralegal who was very resistant to requests to provide formats for accountings and to clarify calculations. They came back a year later to admit they'd make a substantial mistake in calculating final distributions. Layne is a nice guy, but more dedicated to his paralegal than his client(s). Strongly recommend future clients deal with attorney only; have independent auditor triple check any and all calculations.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.
