Robert’s practice includes the representation of medical providers and individual clients in the New York Courts, American Arbitration Association and NJ Forthright forums where he provides counseling and argues intricate issues on their behalf. He regularly arbitrates and litigates complex cases, successfully representing clients in obtaining countless favorable decisions and settlements.
Robert has represented dozens of medical providers on insurance carrier examinations under oath (EUO’s). Routinely resulting in the reimbursement of the providers outstanding claims held in “EUO protocol” by insurance carriers.
Robert has successfully negotiated numerous six figure “bulk” resolutions and thousands of resolutions on individual claims for his clients. His comprehensive knowledge of New York and New Jersey No-Fault law is effectively demonstrated in his daily practice.
After earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Maryland, Robert went on to complete his Juris Doctorate at the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University. He also holds an Associate of Arts degree from Nassau Community College.
Before joining The Licatesi Law Group, Robert gained valuable experience as a law clerk at a well-regarded Carle Place law firm specializing in personal injury litigation, medical malpractice litigation, and no-fault arbitration.
Additionally, he worked as a legal assistant to a Deputy Town Attorney during his internship with the Town of North Hempstead, where he contributed to the resolution of municipal disputes.
