William McCoy is an extremely intelligent, motivated, thorough attorney. He has extensive knowledge and experience that have come from years of practicing law. He has also developed the contacts in the legal system that one needs to keep the case at hand moving steadily through the process. He returns calls promptly and has no problem answering any questions one might have and some may not like this but he gives it to you straight so you know exactly what you are up against or what to expect.

This review is based on my experience and it is my opinion. I hired Attorney William McCoy to represent me in my divorce. I would say that hiring Attorney William McCoy was the biggest mistake I ever made. His lack of diligence and competence cost me 50% of my disability annuity and other damages totally nearly $100,000.00. I didn't know it at the time, but he has been disciplined by the Bar. I would not recommend this attorney to anyone.

He failed to have my ex-wife do an Interrogatories and Product; therefore, we had no way to know what she was going to claim when this case went to trial. He did not present evidence that we had that would have drastically changed the outcome, nor did he use an expert witness, who was also a former federal agency, to refute claims by my ex-wife. Unethical, uncaring 1.0 star Posted by Tracy August 26, 2017 This attorney backed out of representing me the DAY before my hearing, leaving no chance of me finding anyone else, AND after promising to return my retainer, cashed it...$1,000 to leave me stranded..I will be contacting the bar association next!
