About Karen A. Leiser

Karen started her legal career as a staff attorney at Legal Services of Northern Virginia (LSNV), where she worked in the areas of housing and family law from 1997 to 2002. She served as the Managing Attorney for the Fairfax branch of Legal Services from October 2000 through July 2002.

In 2002, Karen joined the firm as the managing attorney, where she has continued her practice in the areas of family law and landlord-and–tenant disputes, and branched out into other areas, including criminal and traffic defense and personal injury. Karen fights tirelessly for clients throughout Northern VA.

Ms. Leiser represented me in an uncontested divorce. She was incredibly responsive to any messages and questions I had. Her fees were very reasonable. She made process very clear and easy to understand. Items I had to accomplish were specified. It was a pleasant experience for my personal situation. Highly recommended!!

Amazing service and results! The Lesier Team is the best law firm in Virginia! We had an issue regarding a landlord and tenant dispute during the COVID pandemic. We spoke with Karen Leiser who was deeply knowledgeable and a very great listener and gather all the facts. Long story short she helped us to quickly get the issues resolved we had with our landlord. Karen was easy to reach and her follow up was amazing and she always kept us informed every step of the way. Our landlord even gave us a $100 credit off our rent due to an error on their end and we firmly feel we received that credit due to Ms. Lesier representing us. If you are a landlord or management company in need of great representation, I would also highly recommend Karen and her team. Ms. Lesier prices are also responsible. Mrs. Leiser handled a rather acrimonious divorce with great care and discretion. Though the case itself dragged on for months, Mrs. Leiser was considerate as to additional fees and I was more than satisfied with the result. I would most certainly recommend Mrs. Leiser to friends / family / co-workers.

Karen assisted me with my divorce proceedings. Her time and attention to the case was outstanding - as was her ability to communicate (and execute) the easiest approach to ensuring a smooth and simple process throughout the divorce proceedings. Karen Leiser is a dedicated attorney who fights for her clients, and intelligently fights for her clients in court. Make no doubt about it, Ms. Leiser is a trial lawyer, who's greatest asset to her clients is in the courtroom. I had worked with Karen for more than 6 months, which culminated in the reversal of fate from the accusations that had been made against me. In the months leading up to the hearing, Karen entertained voluminous emails from me, phone calls, and priority mailings from me.
