Hired Attorney

Erik Fox worked with a team from Rees Broome to resolve a decades-old case of a homeowner not paying HOA dues. We laid out our objective in the case, in that we preferred to have the owner vacate so we could get the property occupied by a caring, paying owner. Erik stayed on top of the issue, communicating with our HOA as often as necessary to keep us appraised. They were focused on our goals, and were knowledgeable and experienced in resolving these issues before the courts. In the end, thru his perseverance, we won the case and are moving forward. We owe a gratitude of thanks to Robert and to Rees Broome. I especially appreciate Erik's communication with us, providing clear explanations when needed. He gave us good, prompt advice when we needed to make a decision in the case. He has an excellent knowledge of community and HOA law.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.
