Joseph J. Hoffman, Jr., is a founding partner of Hoffman DiMuzio, with more than 40 years of experience handling a large variety of legal matters in the areas of personal injury, criminal, and commercial law.
Mr. Hoffman has the distinction of being a Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent attorney, representing the highest possible peer review rating in legal ability and ethical standards. Mr. Hoffman is a native of Gloucester County and has grown up and lived here his entire life. He currently resides in Franklinville with his wife, and is the proud father of 3 wonderful children and 5 grandchildren. After graduating from Delsea Regional High School in 1969, he attended Ursinus College and graduated with a B.A. in Political Science and was inducted in that same year into Pi Gamma Mu, the National Political Science Honor Society. He then earned his Juris Doctorate, with Honors, from Rutgers University School of Law.
Mr. Hoffman has spent his entire career fighting for his friends and neighbors in South Jersey, and has had the privilege to be able to help thousands of South Jersey’s families deal with some of the toughest moments of their lives.

Mr. Hoffman is admitted to practice law in the State of New Jersey, United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, United States Third Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Hoffman is a member of the Gloucester County, New Jersey and American Bar Associations. He served on the Board of Governors of the New Jersey Association for Justice (formerly known as American Trial Lawyers Association) and is a Fellow of the Roscoe Pound Institute.
