Great Attorney! Doesn't tell you what you want to hear, he tells you the TRUTH. Always there when you need him. He is a Godsend. I couldn't imagine using anyone else.
If one has an amicable divorce, he might be a good advisor. However, he is completely incompetent in an adversarial divorce. How bad? There has never been a point since my divorce where I was behind in child support. Gil is such a bad lawyer that he managed to lose a contempt case on a technicality, and allowed Judge Doss to send me to jail for violating the child support agreement. I prepaid 4 months of child support, when the child support agreement states that it is to be paid monthly, and Gil managed to let this 4 year old "violation" get me sentenced to 45 days in jail and it was enforced immediately. (The State Supreme Court suspended the verdict within 48 hours, and I was in jail "only" a week.) Other lawyers don't believe this is possible until the see the case file. His level of incompetence is astounding, and more than one has observed that it may have been deliberate to generate fees from appeals.
They never responded to my request for help for a case they handled in the past that involved me. Totally ignored me. Very rude people. Even when I sent followup requests for a response they kept ignoring me.
