I am a sole practitioner attorney engaged in diverse litigation practice concentrating in mediation, arbitration, criminal defense, family, legal malpractice, lender legal lability and bad faith law. Upon graduating from law school in 1992, my colleagues scrambled to find jobs at major Oklahoma law firms while I was confident in my ability to start and run my own private practice. I borrowed my start-up capital, began acquiring clients, and tried and won my first case within three months. Although many said it could not be done, I never looked back and clients have continued to trust me and my professional acumen in their times of greatest legal need. Likewise, I hope you will give me the opportunity to serve as your attorney
Recently after obtaining a fellowship with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and my LL.M. in Dispute Resolution from the University of Aberdeen in Scotland, I founded the Oklahoma Arbitration Center which through its panel offers arbitration and mediation services in family law and civil disputes. Life experience matters
In addition to private practice, I serve as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Oklahoma State University. I designed curriculum for two courses, "Business Ethics and the Law" and "White Collar Criminal Law." When not practicing law or teaching, I spend time with my family. I have found that life experiences as an attorney, university professor and coach, husband, parent, and business owner have allowed me to be a better lawyer and to connect more meaningfully with clients.
