Mr. Ted A Schmidt is a lawyer practicing personal injury, products liability, medical malpractice and 8 other areas of law. Ted received a B.A. degree from University of Arizona in 1974, and has been licensed for 49 years. Ted practices at Schmidt, Sethi & Akmajian in Tucson, AZ.
Originally from Mansfield, Ohio, Ted has practiced law in Tucson since his undergraduate years at the University of Arizona and as a graduate of the University's College of Law. He is active in the community especially with youth activities, having been a scout leader with the Boy Scouts, a coach in Little League, and President of the Catalina Foothills High School Booster Club. He is currently president of the Tucson Soccer Academy. He has also been a member of the President's Club at the University of Arizona, and he and his deceased wife Ann established the Tara Nicole Schmidt "Have a Dream" Memorial Scholarship at the UA. This scholarship has funded, and continues to fund, the educational pursuits of worthy Arizona students.
Ted has four children. Ted's oldest Matt, also a University of Arizona and Arizona Law graduate, practices at the firm with Ted. His son Tyler is an engineer at Raytheon and his daughter Savanna is a student at Chapman University where she plays varsity soccer.
