Although retired from the full-time practice of law, Ms. McIlvain maintains an office with the firm and is available for selected matters in plaintiff's personal injury and employment litigation. Ms. McIlvain was lead plaintiffs' counsel in cases that produced the largest sex discrimination class action settlement in Arizona and the largest age discrimination verdict in Arizona. She is a recipient of the Public Interest Award by the Arizona Center for Law in the Public Interest and was the first woman to receive the Walter E. Craig Distinguished Service Award from the Arizona Bar Foundation. She has served as President of the Southern Arizona Chapter of the Arizona Women Lawyers Association and has co chaired the State Bar Committee on Fair Employment Practice. Ms. McIlvain is rated "AV" by Martindale- Hubbell. She has been named one of the Best Lawyers in America in the area of labor and employment law. She was admitted to the Arizona Bar in 1978 after graduating from the University of Arizona College of Law with highest distinction.
