Hired Attorney

Mr. Paul was engaged by me and my ex-husband to arbitrate our divorce. Prior to being engaged, Mr. Paul was statutorily required to disclose ALL of his conflicts of interest with my ex-husband and my ex-husband’s lawyers; however, Mr. Paul did not do so. Most alarming is that 4 days after having his neutrality questioned by my lawyer, he chose to fill out his arbitrator disclosure form in a way that concealed his conflicts of interest with my ex-husband’s lawyers. After being engaged, Mr. Paul then proceeded to make rulings they were clearly biased. He abused the trust that I had reposed in him as the neutral arbitrator in my divorce. And, unbeknownst to me, while serving as the arbitrator in my divorce, he was also actively working with one of my husband’s lawyers on a case that was pending before the NJ Supreme Court. It took me 8+ months and cost me nearly $100k to get rid of Mr. Paul and, sadly, the effects of his biased decisions continued to harm me financially. Beware!
