My first opportunity to meet Helen was when my mother needed to update her will and other legal documents. That was our first time meeting with Helen, as she took over my mother's file from another lawyer who had left the firm. Helen was thoroughly prepared and knowledgeable about Mom's needs; the interaction showed me that Helen cared about her clients. After leaving the meeting, I shared my observations with my wife and coincidently, we were at a point in our lives that we needed a lawyer as well. I contacted Helen and she agreed to take us on as a new client and we have never looked back. In fact, she also took my sister on as a client as well. When both my mother and later when my sister passed, Helen was there to guide us through the legal process of opening estates through the probate process. Even though my wife and I have moved out of state recently, I will continue to lean on Helen for guidance; we would be foolish not to.
