I hired Chelsea of Seger Law on October 6, 2024, specifically to represent my son Amyri at his trial and to file an investigation request with DOC regarding threats to his safety. She was made aware of these safety concerns months before his death but failed to file the investigation she was hired for. She also failed to show for the trial she was hired for, citing illness, and then refused to refund any of the money paid, forcing me to file a claim with my credit card company. Her negligence, lack of urgency, and inexperience led to critical mistakes, including errors in the case order and unfinished work. My son was later murdered while incarcerated, and I believe her failures contributed to the lack of intervention that could have saved him. I would not recommend this firm. Seger was hired for my son's trial for December 4, 2024, my son was murdered by correction officers on December 7, 2024. She called 11 hours before the trial to tell us she would not be there.
