Mr McCormick was my mother's attorney. She was under voluntary conservatorship. During the conservatorship, one of her daughters stole money from a conserved account. He did nothing. All he could do is say it was "awful" . He is utterly ineffectual when it comes time to being assertive. My mother was ill-represented and suffered as a result.
I am one of the beneficiaries of my stepfather’s estate and contacted the attorney handling the probate to ask basic questions about the process and concerns about missing items. Unfortunately, my experience was very negative. When I explained that the executor wasn’t communicating and items were disappearing, he told me to “just put sticky notes on what you want,” which didn’t address the real issues. When I repeated my concerns about unfair treatment, he raised his voice and spoke to me in an aggressive, disrespectful tone. I had to ask him multiple times to stop speaking to me that way. I found him rude, unprofessional, and lacking compassion. Even though he represents the executor, I expected courtesy and a clear explanation of the process. Based on my experience, I would never recommend this firm. Shame on him for treating someone in the manner he did.
