Let me start by saying Zachary is not the cheapest option. With that being said, I do not regret hiring him at all, and would not hesitate to do it again. His fees are more than reasonable given his expertise and results. He has a direct working relationship with the California Bar, and seemed to know everyone on the moral character board. Zach was able to get my application through weeks after I passed the bar. Although he charges by the hour, that doesn't mean he wastes any time. He bills for exactly what he does and takes exactly enough time to get the job done. His expertise means he'll do in 10 minutes what most attorneys take 30 to finish. Although the Bar wanted to delay my application another month after my informal conference, Zachary pulled some strings and I had my approval in about a week. He literally saved me my job; a law firm wanted me to start ASAP. Again, Mr. Wechsler is the embodiment of the old adage, "you get what you pay for," in the best way possible.

Choosing Zachary Wechsler to represent me before the California Bar Moral Character Committee was the absolute right decision. Zachary prepared me for my informal conference, and worked to help me substantively respond to Committee requests and participate in the informal conference, including by mooting me for the conference beforehand. Zachary was always responsive to me during what was a very stressful time of uncertainty, and his insight into the Committee and its workings are clearly based on years of experience assisting applicants to the California bar. I am happy to report that my Moral Character application was approved, and I give a lot of credit for that outcome to Zachary and the counsel he provided.

I had a serious Moral Character issue from my long-ago past that I did not disclose to my Law School. It resulted in a lot of personal trauma and damage throughout the years and was painful for me to confront with myself and worse- talk about it with other people, let alone the State Bar.
