Hired Attorney

Howard Manis took my retainer and fraudulently may I add from my credit card. He then didn't answer my calls and promised to return my money but still hasn't responded as we are used to. He doesn't have a clue about the conversations that he has and keeps needing reminders of what the case is all about.

Hired Attorney

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Howard Manis. He consistently mishandled billing, charging almost three times more than the legal service he rendered. Despite our multiple messages over the span of 8 months to rectify the issue, he has not taken meaningful action and ignores our messages. His errors include: 1. Inaccurate initial retainer balance 2. Incorrect billing rate 3. Charging an hour for just reading two emails Mr. Manis offered a mere $1500 credit, dismissing our concerns. His ongoing ignorance of our messages and lack of communication raise alarming doubts about his dedication to resolving the dispute. I cannot recommend his services due to incompetence and poor professionalism. Beware of Howard Manis as your attorney.
