Camelia joined Thomson Rogers in 2018.
Prior to joining Thomson Rogers, Camelia completed her articles at a leading litigation boutique law firm in downtown Toronto. During her articles, Camelia was involved in all aspects of the litigation process and frequently appeared before the Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Court of Justice. She subsequently worked at a family law firm.
Camelia received her Juris Doctor from Queen’s University where she was involved in various legal clinics and volunteering initiatives, such as the Queen’s Family Law Clinic, Queen’s Legal Aid, Queen’s Elder Law Clinic, and the Pro Bono Students Canada Correctional Law Project.
Her work at the Queen’s Family Law Clinic solidified her interest in family law. During this time, Camelia assisted self-representing litigants through separations, custody and access disputes, and support issues. She also regularly attended the Superior Court of Justice in Kingston where she assisted duty counsel.
