We are in trying times, and there are situations in life that exacerbate already difficult situations. Of course, we require the support of the legal mechanism when these life changes strike, but often it can be cold and institutional. Watson Dalton was warm, supportive, understanding, and exactly the additional support I needed. I was pleasantly surprised at the level of empathy that accompanies their experience. They know their business and they know how to speak to people. I commend them on their use of le mot juste. Very grateful for their professionalism.

Clint Dalton has what you might consider the equivalent to an excellent 'bedside manner' in a doctor. Listens carefully. Asks insightful questions. Explains things clearly, concisely, in layman's terms. You never feel stupid or demeaned, but well informed, supported, safe, secure and well guided.

Writing a positive review for a lawyer, or getting divorced, were things I never anticipated, but here I am. Clint took, what otherwise was, a very difficult time for me and guided us through the process, - always looking out for the best possible outcome for the both of us. I found Clint via a referral and I'd do the same in a heartbeat. With that said, I did not shop around to find the cheapest lawyer out there, so I cannot comment on that. However looking back I can say we had the right person for the job. Thank you for everything Clint Evan

Hired Attorney Clinton Dalton

I worked with Mr. Dalton on a particularly difficult and complicated situation. His understanding of the intricacies of divorce law was incredible and his counsel was always spot on. He was able to explain and devise an effective strategy to counter all of the claims/demands on the other side. Never a good thing, but I walked away a happy man and piece-of-mind thanks to Mr. Dalton's service. I would not wish my situation on anybody but if it comes to that it is better to have Mr. Dalton in your corner fighting for you. Thank you.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.

• Distinguished: An excellent rating for a lawyer with some experience. This rating indicates the attorney is widely respected by their peers for high professional achievement and ethical standards.

• Notable: This rating indicates that the lawyer has been recognized by a large number of their peers for strong ethical standards.

Lawyers who have received peer reviews after 2009 will display more detailed information, including practice areas, summary ratings, detailed numeric ratings and written feedback (if available). Details for individual reviews received before 2009 are not displayed.

Attorneys that receive reviews from their peers, but not a sufficient number to establish a Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rating, will have those reviews display on our websites.
