Very Professional, might have a little to much on his plate at times for personal satisfaction. Seemed preoccupied at times during communications, as if his mind was elsewhere. I'm sure he had other important cases going on at the same time. I thought the price was a little high but who wouldn't I guess.

Hired Law Firm
Tom Lemon didn't really try in court, he basically let the judge and opposing counsel do whatever they felt like, and didn't object to a single thing that was presented by the opposing lawyer. He didn't even have a clear course of our defense. All I got was a never ending restraining order against me, loss of my job as a police officer, and a bill for $6000. Oh yeah, and a offer from Tom Lemon to handle the appeal at $250 an hour.
Rude, indecisive, inconsiderate & sloppy. Never could I reach him by phone and rarely did he return calls. Hung up on me more than once and no showed for a meeting. He was constantly belittling, condescending, irritable and annoyed. Important statements, questions, answers and facts would change daily or get confused. If I said anything I was wrong even if I was told by him previously. Any attempt to question him was met with hostility. Cut my losses and hired another attorney with no regrets.
This attorney is one of the worst attorneys Topeka Kansas has to offer. He does not care, respond, respect, or even acknowledge his clients as a human being! This attorney I wouldn’t recommend to represent a frog if you want to lose your case then he is recommended.

Hired Law Firm
I had the misfortune of dealing with Jim Biggs from Cavanaugh, Biggs & Lemon, P.A., and I feel compelled to warn others about the deeply unethical behavior I witnessed. My experience with Jim Biggs was one where professionalism and truth were blatantly disregarded in favor of dishonesty and manipulation. First and foremost, Jim Biggs's actions in court were shocking. He not only misrepresented facts but actively engaged in perjury. His willingness to lie under oath is a direct assault on the justice system and should raise serious red flags for anyone considering his legal services. Rather than upholding the standards of truth and fairness, Biggs seems more than comfortable bending — or outright breaking — the rules to serve his own agenda. Beyond his unethical courtroom behavior, Jim Biggs demonstrated a complete lack of integrity. His manipulative tactics and disregard for legal ethics make him a
Horrible pretty much double crossed me with the company and another employee. All he had to do is request that the employee show up to court. But said he coudlnt get the guys attorney to agree... Come to find out HE was the guys attorney.

Martindale-Hubbell® Client Review Ratings™ display reviews submitted by individuals who have either hired or consulted the lawyers or law firms.
The Client Review Rating score is determined through the aggregation of validated responses. People who submit reviews are either individuals who consulted with the lawyer/law firm or who hired the lawyer/law firm and want to share their experience of that lawyer or law firm with other potential clients. Reviewers can be anyone who consults or hires a lawyer including in-house counsel, corporate executives, small business owners, and private individuals.
Martindale-Hubbell validates that a reviewer is a person with a valid email address. As part of the review process, respondents must affirm that they have had an initial consultation, are currently a client or have been a client of the lawyer or law firm identified, although Martindale-Hubbell cannot confirm the lawyer/client relationship as it is often confidential. The content of the responses is entirely from reviewers.
Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome and Martindale-Hubbell accepts no responsibility for the content or accuracy of any review. For more information on Martindale-Hubbell Client Review Ratings, please visit our Client Review Page
Martindale Peer Reviews
Martindale-Hubbell® Peer Review Ratings™ are the gold standard in attorney ratings, and have been for more than a century. These ratings indicate attorneys who are widely respected by their peers for their ethical standards and legal expertise in a specific area of practice.
The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.
What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

Attorneys that receive reviews from their peers, but not a sufficient number to establish a Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rating, will have those reviews display on our websites.
Ratings and reviews are feedback from people who have either consulted an attorney about an issue (but may not have hired the attorney) or people who hired an attorney as a current or former client and provided their feedback to our sister site, Avvo.com.
