Prior to the paid consultation I provided documents to Sobecki but he never read them. At the time of our meeting, he needed to ask Dave Noonan, his paralegal, what to do in my case. For a lawyer to ask his paralegal how to handle a case indicates a lack of expertise. Sobecki constantly interrupted me as I tried to state my case. After he heard my comparatively low hourly salary, he decided I couldn't be trusted. How can Sobecki represent employees when he blindly trusts employers more than employees?
During a paid consultation, Sobecki refused to take my case. It was a basic request: to write a letter to a former employer on my behalf. The grounds for this denial were questionable. Abrasive guy. Jumped to a quick conclusion without much discussion.
