Hank Pittman is a Partner in our office in Tifton, Georgia, and he concentrates his practice on local government management and liability, transportation, education, general liability, agribusiness, general business litigation, and medical malpractice.
Early in his career, Hank served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Atlantic Judicial Circuit and handled a variety of legal matters. In 1997, he returned to his hometown of Tifton to join Reinhardt Whitley and Wilmot P.C., and he was made a partner four years later. He practiced in a wide range of areas including criminal defense, domestic relations, business law, real estate, probate, local government, banking, medical malpractice, insurance defense, transportation, education, and eminent domain.
In recent years, he has focused his practice on local government litigation, business litigation, agribusiness litigation, transportation, local government management, general liability, and insurance defense. He has been involved in complex litigation between counties and municipalities.
Hank also represents agricultural businesses that process and market crops and businesses that manufacture agricultural equipment and sell agricultural inputs.
Hank earned a Juris Doctor from Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of Georgia. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Tifton Bar Association.
