Hired Attorney

I regret that this client was unhappy with my representation. However, many times an uncontested matter will become a contested matter through no fault of the attorney. Usually a contested matter will take more time and cost more in attorney fees than an uncontested one. I always zealously represent my client whether the case is contested or not and work extremely hard to reach a favorable result for my client, which includes communicating my client's proposals regarding the outcome of the case to the opposing attorney. Hired Attorney

I don't think I was represented in a timely manner. I filed for divorce on November 17, 2010 and as of today, I have a court date of December 1, 2011. A simple non-contested divorce turned into a long, drawn out contested divorce and I don't think my lawyer communicated my desire to end the marriage sooner to the opposing attorney. I was kept waiting a long time before the court date was set...and of course the cost was high!!!!
