George O. Dix entered the practice of law with the firm he founded in 1898. Today that firm is known as Wilkinson, Goeller, Modesitt, Wilkinson & Drummy. Mr. Dix believed that trial skills and experience prepared a lawyer with the tools to provide advice to his clients in all areas of practice. That remains our firm's philosophy today.

We are one of the largest firms in West Central Indiana. Our practice is diverse and includes trial work, with emphasis on civil defense litigation, real estate and title insurance, commercial and probate law, health and hospital law, employment and federal discrimination, civil rights, local government, and creditor's rights.

Our clientele is diverse. We service businesses, corporations, healthcare providers, governmental entities, families and individuals.

We believe that the efficiency created by prompt digital information retrieval are a key part of excellent client service. We combine the technology of Lexis®, computer-assisted legal research and digital document storage with a firm-wide state-of-the-art computer network.

Hired Attorney David P. Friedrich

David recently represented me in small claims court and did an excellent job. He was knowledgeable about the court proceedings and represented me well with the judge and in contrast to the other side. Though we haven’t yet heard the results of the case, I was impressed by his efforts and overall demeanor, and I feel confident we will win the case.

Hired Attorney Mathew Buck

Working with Matthew was very easy. I had never needed a lawyer before and he made the process very easy to understand, especially during a very stressful time. I had been searching for someone in the area who could help me with unemployment appeals and Matthew was the first and only person to contact me back. He had the knowledge to help explain my case to me and knew what my next steps needed to be when I did not. Matthew was also very understanding of my situation as a student.
