Worst attorney, I hired Mr. Whorley for my daughter’s child custody case. I paid his consultation fee and my daughter provided the facts to the case. He stated the only way to handle the case was by jury trial and agreed to represent my daughter for a flat fee of $30K with $15K paid down with remaining $15K before trial. I paid the initial $15K dollars. He failed to return numerous calls, daughter was often told busy with new client intake. Failed to represent her to the best of his ability, was afraid to stand up on violation of the court under Texas Family Law. He continuously violated client attorney privilege, failed to file motions and subpoenas He confirmed deals without clients consent. He Demanded additional fees stating it was taking more time, or he would withdraw. My daughter paid an additional $5K and he withdraw from the case stating he no longer had time to spend due to his eyesight. Stated we could file a complaint with the bar association he had 30 years experience.
