Hired Attorney

I have a very ugly high-conflict custody battle. To give you an idea, at one point, simultaneously, there was a related criminal domestic violence case, civil court domestic violence case, DCF was investigating for child maltreatment, a travel injunction was imposed - even the federal state department and Customs and Border Patrol got involved It took a grueling 6 months to force the other side into mediation once we started pursuing it. To our surprise, Tim was able to pretty quickly steer things in a direction where settlement became a possibility and then eventually the reality. We ended up with an outcome that is probably extremely close to how a trial would have resulted - but saving me probably an entire additional year of stress and uncertainty and more back-breaking legal costs that take years to recover from. I'm extremely grateful that Tim dug his heels in and committed to getting the case settle.
