William J. Cook brings a practical, well-rounded approach to civil and commercial law, built on decades of courtroom and advisory experience. He has handled numerous trials in federal and state courts and is equally comfortable in arbitrations, hearings, and appellate matters. Clients turn to him for business and commercial litigation, employment disputes, securities-related claims, business transactions and counseling, and insurance issues. His work has earned strong peer recognition, including Martindale-Hubbell’s AV-Preeminent rating and consistent selection to Florida Super Lawyers for business litigation since 2013. Mr. Cook graduated cum laude from Stetson University College of Law, where he contributed to the Stetson Law Review as a Notes Editor and received honors for his academic writing, including the American Jurisprudence Book Award in Business Associations and recognition in a national writing competition. During law school, he interned with U.S. District Judge Elizabeth A. Kovachevich in the Middle District of Florida. Licensed in Florida since 1993, he is also admitted in several federal courts and appellate circuits.
