Thor Hartwig has dedicated his legal practice to men’s divorce and family law, offering focused representation to help men navigate the unique challenges of divorce. Having personally experienced a divorce in Hillsborough County, Thor understands firsthand the emotional and financial difficulties men face. His personal experience led him to switch careers and attend law school with the goal of becoming a men’s divorce attorney.
Prior to practicing law, Thor served as a Captain in the U.S. Army and was deployed to Afghanistan. During this time, his own marriage ended, prompting him to return to the Tampa Bay area to be an active father. Recognizing the struggles men can face in family law disputes, he is dedicated to ensuring fathers maintain meaningful relationships with their children and addressing the economic hardships divorce can cause.
Thor is known for his direct communication and commitment to delivering realistic advice to clients. He strives to streamline cases, minimizing unnecessary legal costs while aggressively protecting his clients' rights. As a commissioned officer in the Florida Army National Guard, Thor brings professionalism and integrity to his legal practice. He is also involved in veterans’ organizations, including the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion.
