Leave a review about your experience with this lawyer.I had an outstanding experience working with the Law Offices of Stephen K. Hachey, P.A. on my Florida partition lawsuit. From the beginning, Stephen demonstrated a deep understanding of partition actions, co-owner disputes, and equitable accounting, including the Uniform Partition of Heirs Property Act (UPHPA). He clearly explained my legal options—whether pursuing a buyout or forcing a sale—and developed a strategy that was both efficient and cost-effective. What stood out most was his ability to combine legal expertise with real-world real estate experience, which made a significant difference in protecting my ownership interest. His approach was practical, results-driven, and focused on resolving the dispute without unnecessary litigation. If you need a partition attorney in Florida to force the sale of property, defend your ownership rights, or navigate a complex real estate dispute, I highly recommend his services.
Attorney Hachey is very professional, competent and kind. Highly Recommend! Very knowledgeable and does not get in a hurry whatsoever when you have questions. This Attorney is a cut above the rest for certain.
We sent a contract over on a house to be build for us. The following day we had a phone call with Stephen Hachey; he in seconds told us about the pitfalls of this contract and flat out advised us to walk away from the project. We were quite surprised, but so very thankful for his advice. We liked his open and honest style. We will for sure use him again soon when we buy another (already build house).
I was moving from NY to Florida and Stephen was very patient and knowledgeable regarding the difference in real estate law between NY and Florida. He explained the differences, asked for pertinent disclosures from the sellers and protected me and my family so that I was protected in my real estate purchase. Highly recommended.
I reached out to Stephen Hachey who has provided documentation preparation and consultation for us previously on real estate matters. I sent an email and got a call almost immediately offering me flexible times and urgency for a time sensitive matter. Stephen called me at the scheduled time, had reviewed my email, clarified language that was going to be confusing if not corrected, and offered actionable advice. When I asked for a rate and timeline if I pursued the matter, he was clear in both (as much as he can be as the courts are currently closed). He was thorough, listened, and offered advice that I trust. It was another great experience with his office staff and with Stephen Hachey. Highly recommend.
Mr. Hachey and his office staff were a pleasure to work with. We hired them for a quiet title and quitclaim and the process was seamless. Mr. Hachey outlined the process and answered any questions we had in the beginning and the staff kept us updated regularly during our case and were always prompt to respond with answers to any questions. Loved that they followed up as well after the process to ensure we were satisfied. We would definitely use this office again and recommend to anyone.
I found Stephen Hachey when Googling for help with debt resolution. My first conversation with him was so encouraging that I felt a huge weight lifted after years of struggling in the recession. He guided us through the short sale process, handling all the details swiftly and professionally; it was honestly painless despite having to leave the house that had been our family's first home for more than a decade. I highly recommend Stephen, and am grateful to him and his incredibly helpful staff for all they have done for my family.
Stephen Hachey was very professional, organized, communicative and results oriented. I would recommend Stephens firm.
DO NOT USE THIS LAW FIRM This firm has the qualities no one wants in a law firm: - Incompetence - Dishonesty - Lack of communication - Overbilling - Lack of accountability - Failure to consider the client's best interest - Lack of professionalism by not one, but several layers of individuals at the firm We hired this firm Sep 13, 2022 to represent us in an eviction case. While the details were not as straightforward as in a simple non-payment of rent case, this firm committed several errors, which were made by multiple members of their staff. The firm now owes us over $1,800 and we are now pursuing this with the BBB, Florida Bar Association, and all and any review outlets such as this one. Please contact me for the details (which will not fit in the review limit of this website), and I will be more than happy to share them, to prevent anyone else from experiencing what my husband had to go through with this failure of a law firm.
