At first he seem determined and confident that he could represent my children and I. Peter is horrible, he is not trustworthy nor dependable. Thankfully it was only $500 but it’s the faith I put in his words initially which makes me feel like I loss $5000. I’ve emailed him to withdraw a month ago and still he is on my case. When I text he says with a client in court will check email, or even better I sent the withdrawal to you LIES. If he says he will do your case pro Bono run. My friend could have represented me better and she hasn’t even taking the bar yet. Please please stay clear of him. Now I have to start over with another attorney yet waiting on him to withdraw. I will be notify the family court and present my emails and text that I sent him. Please heed my warning. Do not hire or even consult Peter Hobson. God bless
He is so overwhelmed by his caseload, that he does not return calls, emails or file court docs in a timely fashion. This resulted in significant penalties to myself in my case. Every call I had with him, we wasted billable hours reaclimating Peter with my case. This resulted in additional fees due to his complete inability to stay on top of my case much less anyone else's. Despite providing everything he needed for court filings, he still did not provide them to the court as ordered.
Just a waste of time and money to correspond with this individual, slow at returning calls, I felt like I was bothering him when I did get him on the phone.
This guy is lacking ethics, he didn't even know when I went in to speak with him that we had missed my hearing, it was Thursday when I met with him and my hearing was on Monday, he called my opponents attorney to discuss something come to find out we missed the HEARING!! Now I am spending more money on a different attorney to fix his screw up. Don't waste your time or your money he's a complete moron.
