Ms. Palma established her law firm in 2000. Ms. Palma has focused her practice in the areas of Family Law and Personal Injury Law. Ms. Palma leads the Family Law Division; while her business partner leads the Personal Injury Law division. Clients have often commented on Ms. Palma’s personalized and professional legal services. Her goal is to get an expeditious and equitable result for her clients and their children. Ms. Palma believes the best and most cost-effective way to resolve any family law matter is through effective negotiation. However, in those cases where the opposing side refuses to resolve the case equitably, then court intervention may be required. That is when Ms. Palma’s 19 years of trial experience are utilized to protect the best interests of her clients and their children.
Ms. Palma has achieved the prestigious "AV Preeminent" Rating by Martindale-Hubbell. This honor is granted to a small percentage of attorneys. It is the highest rating available for any lawyer or law firm in the United States. The AV Rating reflects that an attorney has reached the height of professional excellence and is recognized to the highest levels of ethical standards and legal ability.
Ms. Palma is an active member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association, and the Family Law Inn of Court in Tampa, Florida where she was a professional award nominee in 2008. Ms. Palma also volunteers as an Attorney Ad Litem for Children in the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit, and as Civil Counsel for Crossroads for Florida Kids & Florida’s Children First. In 2016, Ms. Palma was selected by Florida Trend Magazine as Florida Legal Elite in the area of Family and Marital Law and in 2018 as The Super Lawyers Distinction of Excellence Award available to only the top 5% of attorneys in Florida each year.
