Inspired by an unrelenting passion to help others, Marcus Fernandez entered the South Texas College of Law shortly after completing his Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Central Florida in 2004. While enrolled, Mr. Fernandez interned for the Honorable Chris W. Altenbernd in the Second District Court of Appeal and the State Attorney for the Thirteenth Judicial District, and worked as a summer associate for Swope, Rodante P.A.
Mr. Fernandez joined Kinney, Fernandez & Boire, P.A. in 2008, focusing his practice on helping those injured in auto accidents, people whose lives were impacted by wrongful death, and other liability claims. Mr. Fernandez prides himself on providing quality service and care for each of his clients. His intense dedication to preparation and research allows him to advise his clients at all stages of litigation, while securing a fair settlement for any damages.
Perhaps most notable is Mr. Fernandez's dedication to the Tampa Bay community. He serves on the Board of Directors for Make-A-Wish® Central and Northern Florida, as well as their Advisory Board. He has led planning efforts for several of the organization's marquee events, including the Wishmakers' Ball for which he served as chair for four consecutive years. Mr. Fernandez is also actively involved on the Advisory Board for Tampa Catholic High School, and serves on the Education Committee for the South Tampa Chamber of Commerce.
When he's not working or volunteering, Mr. Fernandez can be found on the golf course, cooking, or enjoying time with his wife and young son.
