Lowell Thomas Brown is an Associate in the firm's Tampa office in the General Liability department, handling cases involving personal injury and wrongful death.
Mr. Brown earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Politics from Centre College, located in Danville, KY, where he was a three-year starter on the offensive line for the Colonels. He received his Juris Doctor from University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law, graduating magna cum laude. While at Brandeis, Mr. Brown was a member of the Law Review, where his Note, Food Labeling Disclosures And The Commercial Speech Doctrine: Combating America's Growing Problem, was chosen to be published in the 2023 Edition.
As a member of the National Mock Trial Team, Mr. Brown was a Finalist in the 2022 Regional Competition. He also received a CALI Award in Advanced Trial Practice, taught by the Honorable Judge McKay Chauvin. In his final year of law school, Mr. Brown served as his Class Representative for the Student Bar Association.
Prior to joining Cole, Scott & Kissane, Mr. Brown worked for the Jefferson County Attorney's Office in the Civil Litigation Department, handling cases against the Mayor's office and other civil entities. When not in the office or sitting in Tampa traffic, he enjoys fishing, sand volleyball, and water skiing.
