Hired Attorney

Ms Longa Vaillancourt briefed my wife and me on setting up our last will as well as the medical powers of attorney. She explained everything in a way we could understand and answered all our questions. She prepared the documents exactly as we had discussed and we were very satisfied with the quality of work and its completeness. She also prepared a promissory note which forms part of our estate planning and delivered it ontime and accurately.

My husband and I had procrastinated entirely too long for what seemed to us to be estate planning complexities that were beyond our ability to manage. She came in with kindness, clarity, and competence. She patiently and with admirable expertise, explained our options and possibilities. We became so well informed and supported we were able to comfortably carry out all the aspects of end of life planning, paper work, and instruction to heirs. We could not have done it without her.

All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.

• Distinguished: An excellent rating for a lawyer with some experience. This rating indicates the attorney is widely respected by their peers for high professional achievement and ethical standards.
