Julian Brathwaite-Pierre is an associate at the firm’s Tampa office where he works within the General Liability team.
Mr. Brathwaite-Pierre is a native of New York, but spent his formative years in South Florida. He attended the University of South Florida and earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. After graduation he attended law school at Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, Florida, where he earned his Juris Doctor. While in law school, Mr. Brathwaite-Pierre was a member of the Student Body Legislation Committee, as well as participated in the the Immigration Rights Clinic.
Prior to joining Cole, Scott & Kissane, Mr. Brathwaite-Pierre represented various national creditors in various creditor’s rights litigation. Subsequent to his work in creditor’s rights, he was an Assistant Public Defender in the 13th Judicial Circuit. As an Assistant Public Defender, he handled nearly three thousand cases in County and Circuit Courts, including fourteen first chair jury trials.
In his free time, Mr. Brathwaite-Pierre enjoys golfing, grilling, watching sports, and exploring national parks with his wife Amy.
