Mr. Barreiro saved my life. To the point that calling him “Mr.” Doesn’t do him justice. It sounds odd to me that someone that would be there for me in such an impactful way can be referred to in such a normal way. Doctors insist on being called “Dr.” They have earned that title for saving lives. Mr. Barreiro saved my life. The distinction between methods makes no difference. I gave up hope, and put my future in his hands. And he did everything he could to save my future. That deserves recognition. Mr. Barreiro deserves recognition.
