    Throughout her academic years, Erika has taken a great interest in philanthropic causes. In addition to her involvement as an event director at the University of Florida, Erika was part of a group, at Stetson Law, that founded the "Friends of Raman" organization. This organization was founded to raise money for a Personal Catastrophe Scholarship that benefits individuals who experience personal tragedy and need financial assistance to finish law school. The organization was founded to honor a friend who lost his battle with cancer shortly after he completed his first year of law school at Stetson.

    Prior to joining Marshall Dennehey, Erika served as an Assistant State Attorney for the 13th Judicial Circuit, Hillsborough County, Florida.

    In 2008, Erika competed in the Gasparilla Half Marathon, and in October of 2010, she raced to completion in her first triathlon, the Suncoast Triathlon.

    Erika is fluent in Spanish.
