Lucky for me I found Christian Smith online and in person at his St.Petersburg office. He explained to me the difference of Wills and Living Trusts. I found him to be very knowledgeable, reliable with a friendly demeanor and very professional and I know professional working for Delta Airlines for eighteen years. I plan to have him draw up my Living Trust and would recommend him to anyone needing Estate Planning and much more. Mr. Smith will work with you and for you very diligently.
After a significant period of working on the estate planning document he sent to us to complete as part of our coverage under Metlife Legal Insurance, Christian emailed that we had never "retained his firm" and that our trust was too complex to support under the legal insurance. This came after he asked for money for several different items that we declined and found other ways to handle, and after I let him know we likely had about 15-20 total beneficiaries since we don't have children. We are compiling all of the information to include addresses, DOB, how to distribute the assets to these beneficiaries so it's amazing that he now claims this is a "highly customized" trust that would require $4500 to retain his firm (including our legal service coverage) just because we have no children and therefore more total beneficiaries. The way he conducted himself is very misleading and appears to be a money grab under the guise that he will assist with your legal insurance covered plan.
