William W. Corry has been practicing plaintiff's personal injury law in Florida for more than three decades. Mr. Corry is listed in Law and Leading Attorneys in Florida (less than 5% of Florida attorneys were nominated by their peers in a statewide survey). He is also a member of The Million Dollar Advocates Forum Top Trial Lawyers in America. This recognition is limited to only those attorneys who have won million and multi-million dollar verdicts, awards and settlements on behalf of their clients. Fewer than 1% of lawyers in the United States are members with this distinction. Mr. Corry has been a member of the Florida Justice Association since 1979 and was appointed by the President to the Board of Directors of the Florida Justice Association in 2004 and has served on the board since being appointed. He has been an EAGLE Sponsor since 2000 and he has been an EAGLE Patron sponsor since 2003. He has received a number of Academy awards including the 2004 Gold EAGLE Award, the 2004 Staff Appreciation Award, the 2005 In Defense of Justice Award, the 2005 Gold EAGLE Award, and the 2005 "Tiger In The Bush" Award. He has also received the 2006 Political Leadership Award from the Florida Lawyers Action Group. Mr. Corry is a past President of the American Board of Trial Advocates (Tallahassee Chapter) and is a past president of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys (Tallahassee Chapter). He received the 2004 Civil Trial Lawyer of the Year Award from the American Board of Trial Advocates (Tallahassee Chapter). Mr. Corry is also a long-time member of the Dean's Council at Florida State University College of Law as well as a member of the National Campaign Committee at Florida State University. Mr. Corry is a fifth generation Floridian and was raised in Quincy, Florida. He attended Gordon Military Academy in Barnesville, Georgia and graduated in 1965.
