We discovered too late that Mr. Marston was not an experienced and competent lawyer. He failed to effectively use our numerous exhibits and expert witnesses' testimonies and to ask relevant questions of the defendant and his expert witnesses that would have clearly changed the outcome. He chuckled that we should take some solace in knowing that the defendant did not get away completely because he had to pay his attorney too.
As a result of Mr. Marston's gross negligence, we lost over $170K.
