Casey Arbenz began his legal career with the Snohomish County Prosecutor’s Office, where he won his first several jury trials. After a brief stint with the Pierce County Prosecutor’s Office, he spent ten years at Hester Law Group trying numerous misdemeanor, felony, and civil cases before joining Puget Law Group as a partner in February 2019; he became Managing Partner in January 2022. Casey fights vigorously for his clients, earning recognition for his civil advocacy with a 100% trial success rate and millions recovered for injured clients. His criminal defense practice includes serious felonies—murder, assault, drug and firearm offenses—as well as complex white-collar matters such as embezzlement, theft, forgery, perjury, and fraud. A recipient of Washington State’s 2012 Professionalism Award from the Young Lawyers Section and a consistent “Rising Star,” he has been named a SuperLawyer every year since 2019 (an honor given to roughly 5% of attorneys). Believing “there are no unwinnable cases,” Casey has tried cases in state and federal courts and argued before the Washington Court of Appeals, the Washington Supreme Court, and the Ninth Circuit. He is active in the Tacoma/Pierce County Bar, a member of the Robert J. Bryan Inns of Court, and is licensed in Washington and Oregon state and federal courts.
